Come to a Meeting
If you're as concerned as we are about the nursing situation in
Illinois, the best way to help make things better is to become a member of our
organization. When you join the 170 committed individual and organization
members we already have, you'll find that there is strength and energy in our
numbers, and that we're working hard to address the current nursing shortage
and prevent future ones.

If you're considering becoming a member, but haven't made up
your mind yet, the best way to find out what we're all about is to come to a
meeting. Our policy is that any person may attend one general meeting as a
guest of a member. If you don't know anyone who's a member, you can contact our
Staff member, Nancy C. Krier, by phone at: (630) 231-0474 or by e-mail at:
nkrier@ameritech.net As a guest, you'll be welcome to observe our general
meetings, but you will not be able to vote if there are votes cast on an issue.
You may also be asked to pay a nominal fee to cover the cost of refreshments
and printed materials. We videoconference all of our meetings between
Naperville and Springfield. You may attend at whichever location is more
convenient for you. Our Naperville and Springfield meeting locations are as
follows:
Illinois Hospital Association 1151 E. Warrenville Rd.
Naperville, IL
Tel.: (630) 505-7777
|
|
Illinois Hospital Association
700 S. Second St.
Springfield, IL
Tel.: (217) 541-1150
Our meetings are quarterly. Meeting dates for 2008 are February 8th, May 9th, August 8th and November 7th from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the above locations. To help us plan for materials and the necessary meeting place, you do need to make a reservation by returning the response form sent out with meeting notices, or email to Nancy Krier your intention to attend no later than two weeks before the meeting.
