If you wish you had someplace you could go to learn about the latest initiatives, innovations, and statistics concerning nursing in Illinois; where you could debate issues “safely” and discuss differing viewpoints (even your own) without feeling intimidated by others; where you could “mix and mingle” with nurses from academia, practice, organizations of all kinds and all sorts of practice settings…ICNR is that place.  Our meetings are all about listening and learning, talking and teaching and even having those “aha” moments.   COME TO A MEETING and see for yourself!

If you're considering becoming a member, but haven't made up your mind yet, the best way to find out what we're all about is to come to a meeting. Our policy is that any person may attend one general meeting as a guest of a member.

As a guest, you'll be welcome to observe our general meetings, but you will not be able to vote if there are votes cast on an issue.   You may attend the first meeting as a non-member as a guest at no charge but non-members attending more than one meeting will be charged a fee in an amount to be determined by the Board of Directors to cover our costs (or just join before that second meeting).
