Membership Renewal Information
It is that time of year…membership renewal.
In order to continue your support of the Coalition and to continue
your status as either an individual or organizational member representative
(or both), we need you to renew your membership by completing the
member renewal form and mailing it with your check to Nancy Krier
at the address on the form.
Please complete all of the information so that
we can be certain that we have your correct contact information.
Also, once again, please pick a committee and/or task force on which
you would like to serve…we will send out new committee rosters
soon.
We are shooting for 100% renewal, so please do this before March
15, 2005. That is when we will put the new 2005 member roster on
the web and will email information from then on only to those members
who have sent their dues.
The form can also be used for new members so please
feel free to copy it and pass it on to your colleagues and friends.
The ICNR has steadily grown over the past three years. We are hoping
to double our membership this year so ask any and every one you
know who cares about Illinois’ nursing resources to join. Thanks
in advance and thanks for being a loyal and supportive member of
the only Coalition in Illinois open to all who are interested in
ensuring we have the nurses we need now and in the future.
How to Join Us
If you’re as concerned as we are about the
nursing situation in Illinois, the best way to help make things
better is to become a member of our organization. When you join
the 170 committed individual and organization members we already
have, you’ll find there is strength and energy in our numbers,
and that we’re working hard to address the current nursing
shortage and prevent future ones.
Our memberships are open to any individual or organization that
is committed to our mission. You can choose to join as either an
Individual (for a dues fee of $50/year) or an Organization (for
a dues fee of $275/year).
If you join us as an Individual, you’ll
ensure you have a voice in shaping the nursing workforce in Illinois.
You’ll also benefit from networking opportunities and access
to up-to-date information on the current nursing situation.
Organizations who join us will be offered a hyperlink
from our Web site. They’ll also enjoy networking opportunities
and the peace of mind of knowing they’re helping to improve
the nursing situation in Illinois.
No matter how you choose to join us, you’ll
be expected to attend meetings and work on one of our committees.
You’ll also have voting privileges: one
vote per organization and one vote for each individual. If you are
both an individual member and the voting representative of an organization,
you will be allowed to cast two votes. All of our major decisions
will be decided by the entire membership, and our governing body
is empowered to make operational decisions.
If you’ve made your decision and would like
to join us today, you may use our handy online
application form or send in your application form by mail
or fax.
